I've had a lifelong interest in photography, starting with trying to photograph an airshow with a Kodak Instamatic back in the 70's, and being sorely disappointed by the outcome. Today I photograph mostly when I travel, trying to capture the flavor of different countries and cultures through details of everyday life. I also photograph cities and architecture a lot, with a particular interest of picking out views, colors, and abstract patterns that may get missed during casual observation.

I try not to think too much when I photograph, and instead I attempt to capture the experience of seeing, inspired by what the legendary photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson described as "putting one's head, one's eye and one's heart on the same axis."

I hope you enjoy the work, feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments, I'd love to hear from you.
